We process your personal data on the basis of the relevant data protection provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Act (DSG), and all other applicable laws.
To establish membership in our association, we require the personal data requested during registration. This data is stored and processed in the central membership management database SCOREG. In addition, event data and training steps that arise in the course of a scouting career are also stored. The purpose of processing this data is to register our members with the provincial association (Landesverband OÖ), with the Pfadfinder und Pfadfinderinnen Österreichs (PPÖ), Stöberplatz 12, 1170 Vienna, and with the world associations (WOSM World Organization of the Scout Movement and WAGGGS World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) of the scouting movement, to be able to contact our members and to accompany them in their scouting life. (Basis: GDPR Article 6, 1b "for the performance of a contract") The data of our members is not automatically deleted even after the end of active membership. Only through the expressly and explicitly declared resignation will this personal data be anonymized. Personal data of non-members is only stored by us if we absolutely need it for our association activities. This may include:

The scouts are a worldwide children and youth movement. Within the framework of our association activities, the data is therefore passed on to member organizations (Landesverband OÖ, Pfadfinder und Pfadfinderinnen Österreichs (PPÖ), Stöberplatz 12, 1170 Vienna) to the extent necessary or access to it is granted. If it is necessary within the framework of public funding, the data required for proof, such as in particular name, gender, date of birth and, if applicable, function in our association, is passed on to public funding bodies
For the care of children and young people, it may be important that the responsible youth leader knows specific health data. This and possibly other sensitive data is only collected for specific purposes (e.g. participation in camps) and in any case destroyed or deleted after this purpose has ceased to exist.
Photos taken as part of association activities, provided they do not show a person in a highly personal life situation or in a degrading manner, are stored for the purposes of association reporting and may also be published in association media and on various general social media (homepage, Facebook, etc.) or passed on within the scouting organization. Use for special purposes (folder, poster, homepage title picture,...) is only carried out with express consent.
You can request information about the data stored about you by providing proof of your identity at the above address. In addition, you can request the correction or, under certain conditions, the deletion of your data.
